Each year, hospital emergency staff attend to countless numbers of injuries as a result of careless and often mindless use of fireworks, in particular firecrackers. It is commonly expressed to hospital staff that it was "just a firecracker" by children and their parents.  In delivering this kit a relationship is made between bombs and firecrackers followed by the consequences of playing with "just a firecracker". Children are often mislead to believe that firecrackers are harmless when in fact serious bodily injury and property damage can happen from playing with these products. This kit works in conjunction with the "Just A Firecracker" video which is available in our on-line shopping.

Special Note: The first First Firecracker Educator Kit created by Hook Signs Inc. was donated to the community of Parksville B.C. in memory of Erik Goetzinger, 14, a young boy that died as a result of experimenting with the explosive material found in firecrackers.
