Is my transaction information secure?

Yes, your information is extremely secure.

PayPal uses SSL technology to keep your information safe. In transit your information is protected by SSL with an encryption key length of 128 bits (the highest level commercially available).

In addition, when you send a payment using PayPal, the recipient won't receive sensitive financial information like your credit card or bank account number. This way, you don't have to worry about paying people you don't know.

PayPal is designed from the ground up to be a safer way to send money online. PayPal doesn’t expose or sell your financial information to merchants.


Because the credit card numbers are never seen by the merchant, and are not even stored or recorded in any way, this removes the possibility of credit card numbers being lost or stolen by the merchant, greatly decreasing risk of liability for the merchant and increasing security for the customer.


Is my personal information sold to marketing companies?

NO, You can feel confident and safe purchasing from Hook Signs.

Your information stays within Hook Signs Inc. and will never be given to any outside companies. Your name, address, phone number and email is used for shipping purposes only and when you pay using the processing through paypal we do not see any credit card information as that stays within Paypal.


What type and colors of vinyl do you use?

We prefer to use MACal 9800PRO -Up to 8 Year high performance vinyl where possible but we will source out other vinyl colors for matching purposes if necessary.

Durability:  White & blacks; 8 years outdoors, all other colors; 7 years outdoors.

What method of payment do you accept?

Web site on-line orders we accept credit card and e-check orders via Paypal. You are not required to have a paypal account to pay with your credit card. Follow thru the purchase process and when you are forwarded to paypal's web site click continue near the VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, & DISCOVER CREDIT CARD LOGOS.

Email, Telephone & Fax orders we accept Money Orders and checks. (For check and money order payments, orders will be held until checks and money orders have cleared) 

For Paypal Orders we will only ship to confirmed addresses.


I do not have a Paypal account. How do I pay with my credit card?

Although Paypal will process your payment, you do not have to have a Paypal account to pay with your credit card.

Simply follow the checkout and payment process through to Paypal's web site by clicking on the Pay via PayPal. Once you have been directed to Paypal's web site click on "Continue" located just below the credit card logos (see image below). You will be forwarded to a page that will take your credit card information and process your payment.

 

 

 

 


How come my credit card is not be accepted when I know I have funds available?

The most common reason that a credit card is not being accepted is because the billing address that is entered during checkout does not match the billing address that your bank sends your statement to. Be sure to match the billing address exactly to which your bank mails your statement to.


What sales taxes apply?

All Canadian orders are subject to 5% GST.

All British Columbia orders are subject to 7% PST.



What shipping method is used?

U.S.A. orders are shipped via FedEx ground. No P.O. Boxes please.

Canada orders are shipped via FedEx ground with the exception of customers that have postal codes requiring a shipping surcharge. In the case of a shipping surcharge Canada Post may be substituted as the courier of choice.  

We will make every effort to inform you that your item(s) have shipped. On occasion an item may be out of stock. Orders with custom or out of stock items may take longer to ship. If your order is time sensitive, contact customer service for assistance.


What is the shipping cost within USA?

A flat rate shipping fee of $12.00 is charged on all orders within continental United States. (Regardles of number of items ordered your shipping fee will be $12.00)

How fast are orders processed and shipped?

Orders are generally shipped next day although on very rare occasions some orders may take 3-5 business days to process.


What is your return policy?

Made to order and custom orders are non-returnable unless they were defective at the time of sale.

Credit or refund is only available for in stock product or defective custom product.

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

Returned items are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

A return authorization number (RMA #) must be obtained prior to return of any porduct. Packages returned without an RMA # have to be refused. No exceptions. RMA # must be clearly visible on outside of package. RMA # is obtained by emailing sales@hooksigns.com

Eligable product must be returned within 30 days of sale. No returns after 30 days.

Products must be in NEW condition with no damage, modifications or holes added to receive a credit or refund. All returned product are inspected upon receipt to confirm credit or refund eligablility.

Refund or credit will only be issued after return and inspection (approx. 1 to 2 weeks). Please note that each year we are shut down for holidays during the month of August.

If returning an item, you may want to insure your return; we cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns.

Products damaged in a return shipment are not covered by warranty or eligable for return.

If you paid for your order by credit card, a credit will be issued and will appear on your billing statement.
